So I get to share my AMAZING news of partnering with Purina Equine Horse feeds Canada!! I’m beyond excited and want to share some key information. First of all I am 110% behind this product, it’s quality and it’s results!!!

My customers come to pick up their horses after they have been on “my program” which includes THIS FEED and they hardly recognize them! They are filled out in their top line, and absolutely glistening! This product WORKS.

Below I’m going to share some FACTS about Purina Equine Canada.

Number one key fact: This product is made in a 100% drug free facility. Purinas number one  concern with their product is the safety of the Equine athlete!

They make horse feed at horse feed plants. They make outside feed at other plants. So there is zero risk of contamination that can effect your equine athlete!

Number two: This is a scientifically formatted complete feed specifically for the equine athlete. (Tri max). However they do have multiple products for everyone including, senior, maternity, and junior.

We do also feed our broodmare maternity, and our prospects junior, so we can rest assured that our colts are getting their proper nutrition to grow, and develop to the best of their ability, and genetics. Our yearlings have been mistaken for 4 year olds, because they are SO developed, structurally and muscular.

Tri max is my go to product. We feed everything that is on rotation to work “Tri-max”. For those of you who have used Purina feeds in the US, this is a similar blend to Ultium. So this ration covers 2-18 year olds.

You will find this on the bag:

And I am going to decipher the code for you!

Starting left side top to bottom, and then right side top to bottom.

  • High calories

  • Super Fibre

  • Organic minerals

  • Pre Biotic

  • Yeast culture

  • Controlled NSC (sugar and starch)

  • Essential Amino Acids

  • Horse Plus Vitamins B,C & E

  • Probiotic

  • Omega 3

You can get all this and RESULTS for around $27-30 per bag!

Holy crow that’s expensive?! 1 bag of feed lasts me with 10 horses on rotation approximately 30 days.

Each horse is different of course but generally we feed 2 Purina cups per day to our younger stock, and 4 Purina Cups per day to our full time working horses. Remember when you feed for performance you have to exercise equivalent to the feed your supplying them.

My horses stay focused, calm, and any from start to finish on this program have not had to deal with ulcers. It’s not a medicated formula for ulcers though, it’s preventative care. If your horse has ulcers developed, you need veterinary medication to address them.

Its important to offer a daily salt source, as well as plenty of fresh and clean water at all times. Feed good quality clean and dust free hay. And make sure to make any feed change gradually over a 7-10 day period.

My hay intake has decreased, as my horses receiving the nutrients they require daily. All our horses are on free choice salt, water, and good quality alfalfa hay. Along with their daily dose of Purina Equine Canada's Tri Max.

Even my pickiest eaters run to the fence, and beg for their Tri max! They love the taste! I also have two of the shiniest barn cats in Canada, who pick up any I drop on the floor during feeding time. You can smell the quality and nutrients when you open a bag! And Ronald Looks and feels ready to compete for this upcoming 2018 Season!
